23rd September, 2017 was the day the beach at The Andaman resort was semi taken over by bright pink creatures of the slender kind.
"And here, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of how flamingoes and humans can possibly coexist in a social setting," explained the experienced naturalist
Veen Dee was one of those fun brides who loves doing things a little on the unorthodox side. In this case, the splashes of colour at her white and luscious wedding came in the form of flamingoes: flamingo balloons, little plastic flamingoes, flamingo straws, and her evening dress! Wait till you see it...
The day started out wet. Not fun for wedding decorators. You see, we are committed to transforming your venue to its most beautiful potential. No matter the weather, no matter the conditions, no matter how hungry we are. So on this day, it was definitely a great rush for us to set everything up in that short window of time between rain stopping and the bride's entrance.
But rush we did (thanks very much to wedding guests who were so patient, helpful and accommodating!) and here we have it, the beautiful photos thanks to the talented team at The V.
Veen Dee's bridesmaids looked absolutely resplendent in their matching champagne coloured dresses and Bacchus inspired green crowns.
And then comes Veen Dee herself looking so shy and beautiful as she is walked down the green lined aisle with her father...
One of the best parts of a wedding (amongst like, a million other things) is seeing the adoring look on the groom's face as he sees his love and realising that after this day, she will be the one he will be spending the rest of his life with. Without a doubt, this heart melting picture above perfectly encapsulates the moment with Haan.
A special mention must go to Veen Dee's wedding gown! We thought it was one of the more interesting one we've seen on our beaches; so dreamy, especially with the illusion of feathers on the top part of the bodice.
And as nightfell, it was time for Veen Dee and Haan to make an appearance again, this time together as a husband walking hand in hand with his beautiful wife who just happens to be in a GORGEOUS FLUFFY DRESS!
Now this is an example of how less is sometimes so much more; if you notice, we mostly used leaves, minimal white flowers and candles to enhance the long table. But this alone was perfect in bringing out the little pink details on each table setting.
Low table decor is also the best choice for long tables as you would be facing your guests and wouldn't want much obstruction to your & their view, making conversation and eye contact flow easily throughout the night.
And while bridal bouquets sits high up on the list of important elements for a bride, alas, its short life comes full circle at the end of the night when it is tossed and caught by hopefully, what would be the next happy bride.
